Dave Matthews And Jakob Dylan Form The Nauts

Recently word came down that Dave Matthews was working on a new Dave Matthews Band album with producer Rob Cavallo. Apparently that’s not the only project Matthews is putting together as Mix reports that Dave has formed a new band called The Nauts with Jakob Dylan, Brady Blade, Charlie Sexton and Will Sexton.

The group recorded new material at Brady’s Blade Studios in Shreveport, LA. Blade was the drummer for Matthews’s Dave & Friends project, while guitarist Charlie Sexton is a former member of Bob Dylan’s touring band. A listing for a potential The Nauts live debut appears on the website for a series of shows in Shreveport.
