The STS9 / Umphrey's McGee tour
continued last night in Boston, where both bands welcomed members of the other act to
guest at Bank Of America Pavilion.
STS9 closed out the Beantown show and offered a set heavy on fan-favorites and tour
staples. Eleven songs into their set, Sound Tribe welcomed nearly all of Umphrey's McGee
(drummer Kris Myers and keyboardist Joel Cummins sat out the collaboration) for a cover of
"Symphathy For The Devil" by The Rolling Stones. "Inspire Strikes Back" brought the
evening to a close.

sextet mixed staples such as "Plunger," "Walletsworth" and "Divisions" with rarities
including "The Pequod" and "Soul Food II." Towards the end of their set, Umphrey's brought
out STS9 percussionist Jeffree Lerner and keyboardist David Phipps for a cover of
"Regulate" by Warren G. that featured Farag rapping, as per usual.
