GOV’T MULE BROUGHT OUT MEMBERS OF WIDESPREAD PANIC TO COVER NEIL YOUNG AT WANEE FESTIVAL

Yesterday afternoon at the Wanee Festival in Live Oak, FL Gov’t Mule ended their set with a cover of Neil Young’s 1975 hit Cortez The Killer. It was a crowded stage as Mule welcomed four members of Widespread Panic: John Bell (guitar & vocals), Dave Schools (bass), Jimmy Herring (guitar), and JoJo Hermann (keyboards). WSP followed Mule’s set and brought out Danny Louis (keyboards) and Warren Haynes (guitar & vocals) during their set. The Wanee Festival continues today with headlining sets from Tedeschi Trucks Band, Widespread Panic, and The Allman Brothers Band.

Video has already surfaced and is making the rounds of the cover of Cortez The Killer.
