I love the guy, but page's show at this year's moe.down was downright awful. I hope he's practiced some more for this one.

I unfortunately have to agree with revpnice....moe.down this year was not a shining moment for page or fish....but if page polished it up and threw in a little more enthusiasm....it could be pretty solid....ill still give the album a chance

Can't wait to hear it. I was lucky enough to meet the man last summer at the 'Live In Brooklyn' DVD premier in Burlington, and he was really earnest about it and the amount of time he's spent with it. At the very least, he seems to be a lot more discerning in what he wants to put out there than Trey, who's been all over the place in recent years (including court). I can't wait to hear this!

Look forward to the new cd. I am excited that the legendary drummer Jim Keltner is on the cd. The man is worth the price of the cd alone.

Happiest dude on an album cover EVER? Discuss.

I will always be a huge page fan just because of all the amazing music he has created and been a part of and shared with us over the years. I could care less if he put on a bad show wherever, that is totally irrelevant, and as a musician, that can expected when you play so many shows. This man is a legend, and an honorable one, and I have the utmost respect for what he chooses to do with his career from this point on. Page is a soft spoken hero of improvisation, no denying that.

Right on Page! Doh! I forgot about the pre-sale today. Would have loved to seen Fishman on the skins, oh well. Not familiar with Gabe Jarrett, but if he's Page's drummer I'm sure he's sick. Anybody familiar with the dudes in the band?

Landoflizard, you are spot on.

Gabe Jarrett is a local Burlington drummer, and he is *nasty* he was the original drummer in The Jazz Mandolin Project (check out self-titled debut, an incredible collection of songs) before Jamie Masefield ripped him and original bassit Stacey Starkweather off on album profits. I also believe he is the son of or somehow related to jazz legend Keith Jarrett.

Everyone is entitled to an opinion. That being said I'm still upset to hear people diss Page's set at moe.down. I was more excited about his show than any other. It was certainly 10xs better than Ramble Dove and I'm a big fan of Mike. Its one thing if you don't like his new material, but don't trash on his performence. I feel that with Phish his voice was the best of the group without question. I wish Page played more solo shows or at least with Vida Blue.

jonathanleeder, wow, Keith Jarret is a favorite of mine. I purchased The Jazz Mandolin Project years ago and haven't listened to it for a while, Obviously I didn't realize Gabe was the drummer. I'm listening to it now; Gabe is nice. Thanks for the info dude.

Adam Zimmon is a world class guitar man from Miami, Rob O Dea is a great bassist from Burlington who plays in one of B-town's best bands (deep soda), not sure who Jared Slomoff is...but I'm sure he rips as well. Can't wait to catch this show!!!!
