PNC Music Pavilion is a 19,500-person capacity outdoor venue in Charlotte. Since opening on July 4, 1991, the venue formerly known as Verizon Wireless Amphitheatre and originally called Blockbuster Pavilion has been among North Carolina’s top spots for summertime concerts. The amphitheater holds around 8,600 reserved seats with additional space on the lawn where lawn chairs and blankets are options for concerts.
Conveniently situated in the University City neighborhood along Pavilion Boulevard, the amphitheater’s easily accessible location makes it a favorite for fans of all kinds of music.
