Tropical Throe.down/Feat Fan Excursion 2016

UPDATE: This is a joint festival with Little Feat’s Feat Fan Excursion.

This year moe.’s second annual Tropical Throe.down will be at the Jewel Paradise Cove in Runaway Bay, Jamaica. It is an all-inclusive resort, meaning that includes all meals, beverages, top-shelf liquor), non-motorized sports, airport to resort ground transportation, & gratuities. In 2014, Jewel Paradise Cove was voted on the top 25 resorts in the Caribbean.

For the event itself, Little Feat will be joining moe. and Medeski, Martin and Wood as part of their previously announced Tropical Throe.down. Little Feat has enjoyed sharing stages with moe. in the past, from Snoe.down in 2007 to Bill Payne’s sit-in during moe.’s 2014 Big Lebowski Halloween, and look forward to doing it again. MMW has been creating a stir since their first release in 1992. Their amalgam of jazz and funk, which they refer to as “avant-noise,” may be impossible to classify, but rest assured, you will be impressed.
