Last year’s Electric Daisy Carnival Orlando, a two-day marathon of Electronic Dance Music at Tinker Field, was the first major event at the historic baseball field since the property west of downtown Orlando was closed as part of the $207 million Florida Citrus Bowl renovation. The stadium project wasn’t quite done — bulldozers, cranes and construction gear occupied the site — but city officials were determined to clear the way for the music event, which drew 60,000 fans. This will be the music festival’s fifth consecutive year at Tinker Field.
