About The Cush
Much like the husband/wife duos at the creative core of Yo La Tengo and Sonic Youth, Burette and Gabrielle Douglas bring a sound all their own to The Cushhandcrafted psych-pop suites, sculpted with the help of vintage tape delays and the inspiration that can only come from enduring the frozen tundra environs of Burlington, Vermont. (The group’s originally from the much toastier city of Dallas, Texas.)
