About Random Karma
Arizona-based rock band Random Karma came to be in February 2008 with the confluence of guitarist brothers, Erik & Al Ramnath, and veteran rhythm section Louie Moses and Greg White. All of the members had been active in the Phoenix music scene through the classic rock and alternative cover bands 4 Car Garage and Champagne Tap.
When the four members came together to discuss original songs at Highland Studios in Scottsdale, Arizona, the Karma seemed just right. They have never looked backed.
Random Karma offers a unique blend of original bluesy rock, pop and Americana music with catchy hooks, jangly guitars and vocal harmonies that will have music lovers tapping their feet and nodding their heads.
In 2008 the band opened for acts including Cowboy Mouth and Roger Clyne & The Peacemakers. The band has been selected by local promoters, Lucky Man Productions, to share the bill with headlining national acts in the Phoenix, Tempe and Scottsdale area.
This year will include gigs across Arizona, in Las Vegas, and in Rocky Point, Mexico. Random Karma in April will play the McDowell Mountain Music Festival, one of the largest music festivals in the Southwest. And this summer the Karma will hit the recording studio as the band begins work on its debut CD.
