Here Is Mr. Nice Guys Tapeing Policy Mr. Nice Guy supports the non-commercial taping and trading of audio recordings of unreleased Mr. Nice Guy performances, and appreciates the efforts of tapers and traders in getting the music out to so many people. Unfortunately, being a taper-friendly act means that Mr. Nice Guy needs to have a formal policy in order protect their intellectual property in their performances. So… All recording and duplication of unreleased Mr. Nice Guy performances is subject to the following revocable license.Recording and duplication of unreleased Mr. Nice Guy performances is authorized for personal, non-commercial use only. All Mr. Nice Guy performances are the exclusive property and copyright of Mr. Nice Guy. All rights reserved. Unauthorized sale, duplication, broadcast and/or distribution of Mr. Nice Guy performances is strictly forbidden.Audio recording at Mr. Nice Guy performances is usually permitted. Video recording is permitted only with the prior express, written permission of Mr. Nice Guy. Mr. Nice Guy may, on a show by show basis, restrict or prohibit audio recording. Audience recording with microphones is permitted at all shows where taping is permitted. Soundboard patches are Not permitted at the discretion of the sound engineer on a show by show basis. Duplication of unreleased Mr. Nice Guy performances is authorized for the following personal, non-commercial uses: archival/back-up; gifts; trading of recordings on recording media (such as compact disc, mini disc, and tape) for recording media of equivalent value (whether blank or not); “blanks and postage” offers; free transfer of digital music files over computer networks (including the Internet); and the broadcast on public/non-profit radio.Recording, duplication or any other use of unreleased recordings of Mr. Nice Guy performances in exchange for money or any other thing of value (other than recording media of equivalent value) is strictly forbidden. This includes the duplication or use of any unreleased Mr. Nice Guy performances connection with any commercial enterprise. For example, Internet sites that offer digital music files for download or streaming transfer may not accept commercial advertising. Likewise, radio stations that broadcast such recordings may not accept commercial advertising. Businesses may not offer to duplicate Mr. Nice Guy performances for their customers.
