Taking Alternative & Modern Rock to a new level, Driven has exploded into the music scene with tons of energy and just the right vibe to keep you movin’ and groovin’. Based in central Connecticut, the band is comprised of lead vocalist Nick Picano, originally from Solder, bassist Matt Forcier, originally from No Finity and currently from Side Project, guitarist Edward Adams, originally from No Finity, guitarist/bass player Jeremy Castonguay, and drummer John Cappa. E ach member brings their own musical skills to the band and they all share a universal passion for music and the rush that comes from performing to large audiences. Driven was formed in April of 2002, originally as a 4-peice band with Original Music and Covers. Now, Driven has been upgraded to a 5-peice ensemble with well-constructed Covers that exceed your expectations and have already created a reputation unlike the rest. Original music is on the back-burner for them right now but will be introduced sometime in 2004. Bands such as 3 Doors Down, Pearl Jam, Stone Temple Pilots and Staind are a few of their influences. They have performed at many of CT’s famous rock venues including Cioppino’s and 125 Riverside Drive, as well as a few of the top Massachusetts venues. Their energetic style, fun-filled lingo, and powerful vocals keep their audiences kickin’ it ’til closing time.
