Robert Ker has written professionally since 2005, primarily in the nonprofit field and in newspaper journalism, where he has covered music, movies, and the visual arts, both on staff and as a freelancer. Over that time he has written about hundreds of concerts, interviewed the likes of Herbie Hancock and Al Green, and had Lou Reed hang up on him. He currently lives in Portland, Maine, with his wife, two kids, a beagle, and a snake.
