Zac Brown Band premiered video capturing a cover of Brandi Carlile‘s “The Eye.” Brown and five other members of his group perform “The Eye” during a pre-show vocal warm-up in the undated clip recently uploaded to the ZBB YouTube channel.

Brandi Carlile originally released “The Eye” in 2014 as the lead single from her The Firewatcher’s Daughter studio album, which came out the following year. Carlile wrote “The Eye” with longtime band mate and collaborator Tim Hanseroth. The Zac Brown Band debuted their version live on September 3, 2017 as per Setlist.FM. While the ZBB played “The Eye” seven additional times that fall, they’ve shelved the cover since October 14, 2017.
