The Hatch Steel Band has unveiled a cover of Vulfpeck‘s “Animal Spirits.” The kids who form the group are no strangers to fame. The after-school program at William Hatch Elementary School in Oak Park, Illinois, has released two albums, previously performed at Chicago Bulls and Chicago Wolves games and appeared on local radio stations WGN and WCIU. Composed of 4th through 8th graders, the collection of five elementary ensembles even scored a viral hit during the Chicago Cubs’ 2016/2017 World Series run with their performance of “Go Cubs, Go.”

Now, the Hatch Steel Band has drawn the eye of Vulfpeck, with the 4th- and 5th-grade group’s cover of the song off the indie funk band’s 2016 album The Beautiful Game. Directed by Evan and Paul Jacobson, a new video finds the collective of budding percussionists working through a graceful arrangement of the fan-favorite track by Paul Jacobson. Watch the performance — with video from Andrew Morris, audio by Mike Bruno and mixing by Scott McConnell — below:
