Yonder Mountain String Band Announces 2018 Winter Tour

Self-described “bluegrass modernists” Yonder Mountain String Band will begin 2018 with a month-long U.S. tour. The quintet will play a total of 24 shows down the East Coast, through Florida and the Midwest with The Southern Belles set to open 15 of the dates.

Yonder kicks off the tour at the State Theatre in State College, Pennsylvania on January 10. From there, YMSB visits Baltimore, Carrboro, Asheville, Knoxville, Charlottesville, Columbia, Atlanta, Charleston and Nashville ahead of their Florida run. The Florida tour includes stops in Stock Island, St. Petersburg, Orlando, Fort Lauderdale and Ponte Vedra Beach.

On January 31 the five-piece plays New Orleans before heading to Texas for Houston, Dallas and Austin concerts. The run concludes with visits to Fayetteville, Lawrence, Madison, St. Louis and Huntington. Head here to watch the band’s recent Daytrotter session.
