Yo La Tengo Announces US Fall Tour 2021
The trio will mix festival appearances with headlining shows in September and October.
Yo La Tengo confirmed initial dates for a fall tour of the U.S. The trio will play five concerts in the Northeast and appear at the Woodsist Festival this September before headlining Huichica Sonoma and performing three shows in the Pacific Northwest this October.
The band — Ira Kaplan, Georgia Hubley and James McNew — kicks off the run at Gateway City Arts in Holyoke, Massachusetts on September 17. Yo La Tengo then hits Providence on September 18, Philadelphia on September 21, Arden (Delaware) on September 22 and Jersey City on September 24. The three-piece will go on to perform at the Woodsist Festival in Accord, New York on September 25.
Yo La Tengo heads west the next month to begin the second leg with performances at Huichica Sonoma in Sonoma, California October 15 – 16. From there, the group treks to the Pacific Northwest for shows in Portland on October 18 and 19 and in Seattle on October 20.
