Yo La Tengo Announces 2018 Hanukkah Run

Last year, Yo La Tengo revived an annual tradition by hosting the band’s first Hanukkah Run of shows since 2012. The group will continue the tradition again this year with another eight-night run at The Bowery Ballroom in New York City.

YLT initiated the yearly holiday celebratory performances in 2001 at Maxwell’s in their hometown of Hoboken, New Jersey. The typically guest-filled events continued through 2012 but ended with the closing of the venue in 2013. The Bowery in NYC was also the site of last year’s revival of the run.

Tickets to this year’s 8 Nights Of Hanukkah With Yo La Tengo concerts go on sale this Friday, September 14. No fee tickets will be available to purchase at the Mercury Lounge box office.
