yMusic recently performed for NPR Music’s Tiny Desk Concert. The string and horn ensemble performed songs from their 2023 self-titled album.
yMusic have worked with such luminaries as Paul Simon, Bruce Hornsby — who the group is set to tour with this spring — Bon Iver, The National and more. The ensemble’s own album YMUSIC arrived on May 5, 2023.

yMusic — Alex Sopp (flutes/voice), Mark Dover (clarinets), CJ Camerieri (trumpet/horn), Rob Moose (violin), Nadia Sirota (viola) and Gabriel Cabezas (cello) — began their Tiny Desk with YMUSIC’s “Zebras.”
Next, the sextet offered the album’s “Flood.” The ensemble wrapped the session with YMUSIC companion tracks “Peter Inn” and “The Wolf,” perhaps a nod to Russian composer Sergei Prokofiev’s 1936 “Symphonic Tale for Children,” Peter and the Wolf.
