yeule, the project of Singaporean singer-songwriter and producer Nat Ćmiel, assembled at NPR Music’s Washington D.C. headquarters to make their Tiny Desk Concert debut. The memorable four-song set sees yeule trade their usual vocal effects and haze for intimacy and brightness.

In 2025, yeule released their critically-acclaimed Evangelic Girl Is A Gun album. The LP is represented at Tiny Desk by opener “Dudu” and the “VV” that followed. The singer, backed by guitarist Chris Greatti, bassist Topaz Faerie and drummer Ryan Bernardo, then looked back to 2023’s softscars for “daizes.”

yeule breaks out a bow to strum their guitar during the “sulky baby” that closed the session. The track also appeared on softscars. “Thank you Tiny Desk, thanks you guys,” yeule proclaimed after introducing their bandmates.
