The University of Pennsylvania’s non-commercial, member-supported radio station WXPN will once again host the annual XPoNential Music Festival in Camden, New Jersey from July 27 – 29. As usual, The BB&T Pavilion on the Camden waterfront will again host a part of the three-day festival with a separately ticketed show on Saturday night featuring a trio of acts that were recently revealed.

The July 28 show will be headlined by Philadelphia’s own The War On Drugs, who previously played the festival in 2008 and 2012. Joining the psychedelic heartland-rockers will be country singer-songwriter Sturgill Simpson, who will be making his debut at the XPoNential Music Fest and New Orleans’ famed Preservation Hall Jazz Band, who will be playing the event for the third year in a row.

Look for the complete lineup for the festival, which will also be held at the adjacent Wiggins Waterfront Park, to be revealed in the coming months. Tickets for the Saturday night concert are on sale now through Ticketmaster.
