Worlds Away Festival Recruits The Chainsmokers, Tiesto & More For Inaugural Lineup

The Chainsmokers and Tiësto top the 2024 lineup for the inaugural Worlds Away Festival. The one-day event is set to take place at the Monterey County Fairgrounds in Monterey, California on Saturday, October 12.

Also set to perform at the first Worlds Away, held on the same grounds as the historic 1967 Monterey Pop Festival, are Lauv, R3HAB, Sam Feldt, Lost Kings and ayokay.

“This is not just a music festival. Worlds Away will be an immersive, augmented experience,” festival founder Ro Sahebi stated. “Today, festivals are focused on getting bigger and bigger. We are focused on creating something much more intimate and engaging. And what better place than the place where it all started.” Sahebi continued, “this first event is just a taste of what we have planned for the future. We have some very serious sponsors and partners that have committed to building this out over the next few years in multiple locations.”

The Inaugural Worlds Away will feature “cutting-edge technological innovation, never seen immersive art installations, spectacular light shows, and performances from an incredible lineup of multi-platinum and Grammy award-winning music acts,” as per the announcement.

Following a presale beginning August 14, tickets for Worlds Away go on sale to the general public on Friday, August 16. Click below for more festival info including ticket links when the become available.
