The Black Keys Pull Out Of Woodstock 50

The Black Keys was scheduled to be one of the headline acts at the Woodstock 50 Festival, which will take place on August 16 – 18 at Watkins Glen International racetrack in Watkins Glen, New York. The Akron-born band has announced that they have pulled out of the festival.

The duo of Dan Auerbach and Patrick Carney shared the following message about their decision:

Due to a scheduling conflict, The Black Keys will unfortunately need to cancel their set at Woodstock. The band wants to let fans know as soon as possible and before tickets go on sale.

At press time no replacement hasn’t been named for The Black Key. The Woodstock 50 Festival is scheduled to feature sets from Dead & Company, Jay-Z, The Killers, Santana, The Raconteurs, Chance The Rapper, Robert Plant And The Sensational Space Shifters, John Fogerty and more. Tickets for Woodstock 50 are set to go on sale April 22.
