Woods Share ‘Hit That Drum’ Lyric Video

In two days Woods will issue their new studio album Love Is Love via their Woodsist record label. Today the band has shared an official lyric video for the album track “Hit That Drum” prior to its release on April 21.

Featuring six recently-penned new tracks, Love Is Love quickly follows the 2016 release of Woods’ LP City Sun Eater In The River Of Light. Composed in the aftermath of last fall’s U.S. presidential election, Woods accompanied the announcement of Love Is Love with an essay penned by Sam Hockley-Smith declaring the record was, “[A] document of protest in uncertain times and an open-hearted rejection of cynicism in favor of emotional honesty. It is bright, and then, unexpectedly, a little dark sometimes too.”
