Willie Nelson Shares New Single – ‘Don’t You Ever Get Tired Of Hurting Me’

Next Friday outlaw country legend Willie Nelson will release a new album entitled For The Good Times: A Tribute To Ray Price. Nelson has shared another preview of the album, issuing the single “Don’t You Ever Get Tired Of Hurting Me” in advance of the tribute LP’s release.

Nelson worked with longtime collaborators – producer Fred Foster and conductor/arranger Bergen White – on the 12-song record that was recorded at Nashville’s Ocean Way Studios. The recording space is the same location the engineers worked at with the late acclaimed songwriter and performer Ray Price on his final album, 2014’s Beauty Is… The Final Sessions.

Half of the tracks feature The Time Jumpers as backing band, boasting a lineup of guitarist/vocalist Vince Gill, guitarist Andy Reiss, fiddlers Larry Franklin, Joe Spivey and Kenny Sears, bassist Brad Albin, drummer Billy Thomas, keyboardist Jeff Taylor, pedal steel guitarist Paul Franklin and Willie Nelson Family Band harmonica player Mickey Raphael. Other songs on the album feature orchestration by the Nashville String Machine.
