Willie Nelson Pays Tribute To Frank Sinatra On New Album ‘My Way’

At 85-years-old Willie Nelson is showing no signs of slowing down. On September 14, the country music icon will release My Way, his second album this year, which comes on the heels of the critically-acclaimed Last Man Standing. This time around the Red Headed Stranger is putting his spin on a collection of standards and classics made famous by Frank Sinatra.
Nelson dabbled with the Great American Songbook before, most famously with his 1978 album Stardust and again with 2016’s Summertime: Willie Nelson Sings Gershwin. Produced by Buddy Cannon and Matt Rollings, the 11-track effort finds Nelson tackling some of The Chairman Of The Board’s signature tunes like “Fly Me To The Moon,” “Summer Wind,” “Young At Heart” and the record’s title track. Additionally, the album also sees Nelson once again teaming up with Norah Jones for a duet on “What Is This Thing Called Love.”
