Willie Nelson Unveils ‘It’s Hard To Be Humble’ Video

Country music legend shared the video for “It’s Hard To Be Humble,” the latest single from his forthcoming Ride Me Back Home album. Nelson’s sixth record in the last four years comes out on June 21 through Legacy Recordings.

“It’s Hard To Be Humble” was penned by Mac Davis. Willie recruited his sons Lukas Nelson and Micah Nelson to contribute to his version of the song. Buddy Cannon produced the third album in a cycle that also includes 2017’s God’s Problem Child and last year’s Last Man Standing. Nelson wrote a number of songs with Cannon for the 11-track LP and also recorded such covers as “It’s Hard To Be Humble,” Billy Joel’s “Just The Way You Are,” Buzz Rabin’s “Maybe I Should Have Been Listening” and “Immigrant Eyes” by Guy Clark.
