Willie Nelson’s Stirring ‘Heart Of America’ Anchors ‘The Gray House’ Soundtrack

Out today from Willie Nelson is the poignant new song “Heart Of America.” The track is one of ten from various artists featured on the forthcoming soundtrack album for the Prime Video original limited series The Gray House.

The War and Treaty, Larkin Poe, Lainey Wilson, Killer Mike and Shania Twain are among others who contributed songs to the series. Erin Enderlin, Jim “Moose” Brown and Jeff Fahey wrote four songs for the soundtrack, including “Heart Of America.”

Directed by Roland Joffé, The Gray House is a historical drama that tells the true story of secret work carried out during the Civil War by Union spies. All eight episodes will begin streaming on Prime Video on February 26, the same day the soundtrack will be released. Mary-Louise Parker, Amethyst Davis, Daisy Head and Ben Vereen lead the ensemble cast with Kevin Costner and Morgan Freeman among the series’ executive producers.
