Wilco Details ‘Yankee Hotel Foxtrot’ 20th Anniversary Concerts
The famed LP includes such beloved songs as “I Am Trying To Brake Your Heart,” “Heavy Metal Drummer” and “Poor Places.”

Wilco will celebrate the 20th anniversary of their iconic Yankee Hotel Foxtrot studio album with a series of concerts in New York City and Chicago this April. All six shows will feature a full performance of the LP along with live staples and rarities.
New York City’s United Palace will host Wilco Yankee Hotel Foxtrot anniversary shows on April 15, 16, 17 and 19. The band then heads to their hometown of Chicago to complete the run at the Auditorium Theatre on April 22 and 23.

Tickets for Wilco’s Yankee Hotel Foxtrot anniversary concerts will be offered to the general public starting at 10 a.m. local time this Friday, February 11 via Ticketmaster for the NYC shows and through the venue’s website for the Chicago shows. Wilco also revealed archival Yankee Hotel Foxtrot re-releases are due out later this year.
Yankee Hotel Foxtrot was initially issued on September 18, 2001 for streaming on Wilco’s website. The first official release of the 11-track LP came on April 23, 2002. The tale of the album was told in the documentary I Am Trying To Break Your Heart: A Film About Wilco which arrived later in 2002.
