Wilco was three shows into an early-2020 tour when the pandemic hit bringing an early end to the run. The band quickly postponed the excursion and today announced new dates for most of the concerts on the West Coast-focused tour.

“The west coast Ode To Joy tour will take place in October 2021. Rerouting these shows was no easy feat, so please be aware that a few shows had to be canceled along the way,” stated Wilco. “We have done our best to create a tour that is close to the original routing.” Stops in Calgary, Missoula, Salt Lake City, Santa Rosa (California) and San Francisco have been canceled. However, Wilco will play Missoula and Salt Lake City this August and included shows close to Santa Rosa and San Francisco as part of the rescheduled tour. “We’ll return to Canada as soon as we can,” Wilco added.

Jeff Tweedy and company kick off the excursion in Oregon with rescheduled shows in Portland October 5 – 6 and a new performance in Eugene on October 8. It’s then off to Washington for new stops in Olympia and Bellingham as well as rescheduled dates at Seattle’s Paramount Theatre on October 12 and 13. Wilco starts a run through California with a new concert at Napa’s Oxbow River Stage on October 15.

The swing through California continues with rescheduled shows in San Jose and Oakland before Wilco plays a new show at the Santa Barbara Bowl on October 20. Wilco then heads to Brooklyn Bowl Las Vegas for a rescheduled concert now slated for October 22. The sextet ends the run in Los Angeles with rescheduled gigs at the Hollywood Palladium on October 23 and at the Orpheum Theatre October 25 – 26.

Original tickets will be honored on the rescheduled dates. A pre-sale for tickets to the new shows begins on Wednesday, June 23 via the band’s website. Tickets go on sale to the general public this Friday, June 25 at 10 a.m. PT for all shows except Olympia and Santa Barbara (11 a.m. PT).
