Wilco is currently on the road for a Winter Tour that brings them to The Capitol Theatre in Port Chester, New York February 2 and 3 followed by two nights at Brooklyn’s Kings Theatre February 5 and 6. On the night in between, February 4, Jeff Tweedy and Co. are expected to be the musical guest on CBS’s Late Show With Stephen Colbert.
While Wilco has yet to appear on the Late Show during Colbert’s tenure as host, they made multiple appearances during David Letterman’s run hosting the show. Wilco Winter Tour continued last night in Portland, Maine; where the band performed their latest album in its entirety followed by choice selections from their back catalog. Once again, the krautrock version of “Spiders (Kidsmoke)” kicked off the encore before a series of unplugged performances brought the show to a close. Next up for the band is a two-night stand at the Orpheum Theatre in Boston on Friday and Saturday nights.
