Watch Wilco Perform ‘Poor Places’ On ‘Colbert’

Wilco used a night off from their Yankee Hotel Foxtrot 20th Anniversary Shows at New York City’s United Palace on Monday to serve as the musical guests on The Late Show With Stephen Colbert. The band was joined by the Aizuri Quartet strings for a “Poor Places” performance.

“Poor Places” appears on Yankee Hotel Foxtrot, an album officially released in 2002 the band has been honoring with a special run of concerts at the United Palace that continues tonight and tomorrow. Then, Wilco heads to their hometown of Chicago to end the celebratory swing with three nights at the Auditorium Theatre this Friday, April 22 through Sunday, April 24.

Aizuri Quartet and the Total Pros horns have been augmenting the band each night in New York City for complete YHF performances and more. The Magnificent Strings will back Wilco in Chicago.
