Entertainment Weekly recently published an article about Parks & Recreation actor Nick Offerman’s new book Good Clean Fun. The publication buried the lede as the final sentence of the article states, “Nick Offerman and friend Jeff Tweedy of Wilco wrote and performed five exclusive original songs on the audiobook.”

Offerman’s Good Clean Fun was issued yesterday as a hardcover book, ebook and audiobook. The actor’s relationship with Tweedy dates back to the early days of Wilco. More recently Nick directed the video for “Low Key” from the Wilco front man’s Tweedy project. Nick Offerman also dedicated some of his last book, Gumption to his love of Jeff Tweedy:

Jeff Tweedy is really nice. Jeff Tweedy is really smart. And Jeff Tweedy is really, really cute. He’s what the young ladies of a bygone era would refer to as a “dreamboat.” For my money, he’s also the preeminent American singer-songwriter of my generation. Finally, I would add that I am in love with him. We are getting married. The end.

Hopefully audio of the tracks will surface soon. Here’s an excerpt of the audiobook:
