Jeff Tweedy of Wilco will portray the front man of a fictitious band in an upcoming episode of NBC sitcom Parks And Recreation. “He plays the former lead singer of a band called ‘Land Ho!’ — complete with exclamation point; Tweedy’s pitch — that was very popular in Indiana a while back,” Parks executive producer Michael Schur told Entertainment Weekly. “Leslie (Amy Poehler) and Andy (Chris Pratt) are trying to convince him to reunite for the big Unity Concert they are organizing to solidify the merger of Pawnee and Eagleton.”

Tweedy apparently has the acting bug as he’s also slated to guest on an upcoming episode of Portlandia. According to EW, Jeff’s episode of Parks And Recreation will air in “early spring.”
