Wilco To Bring Back Solid Sound Festival In 2017

In 2010 Chicago rockers Wilco presented the inaugural Solid Sound Festival at MASS MoCA in North Adams, Massachusetts. The event returned in 2011, 2013 and 2015. Today, Wilco has announced Sold Sound will be held in 2017.

The 2017 installment of Solid Sound will be held at MASS MoCA once again from June 23 – 25, 2017. Solid Sound will feature performances from Wilco and band members’ side projects as well as many other soon-to-be-announced musical performers on its four stages. The festival will also featurs a full comedy lineup programmed by festival alum John Hodgman, family fun for all ages, local food, craft beer, camping, naturalist activities and more.

Past performers have included Levon Helm, Neko Case, Mac DeMarco, Mavis Staples, Richard Thompson, Reggie Watts, Bill Frisell, Yo La Tengo, Syl Johnson, Thurston Moore, Cibo Matto, Wyatt Cenac, Lucius and more, all chosen by Wilco. Stay tuned for more information and the lineup announcement.
