Deep In The Heart Of Texas: Widespread Panic Announces Austin Residency

The band will hold court at ACL Live At The Moody Theater for a six-show run spanning April 15 – 22, 2023.

Widespread Panic will return to ACL Live at The Moody Theater for a six-night run next April. The shows in Austin, Texas will take place on April 15, 16, 18, 19, 21 and 22, 2023. Tickets, including six-night passes, go on sale Friday, December 16 at 10 a.m. CT. Buy tickets for Widespread Panic in Austin through Ticketmaster.com.

The veteran jam act first played Austin on March 2, 1990 at Liberty Lunch. Widespread Panic has since performed 33 times in the city including festival appearances and sets for radio programs.

Panic made their Moody Theater debut on March 17, 2011 to film an episode of Austin City Limits. The sextet returned for a two-night stand on June 14 and 15, 2011. Additional two-show runs were held at the venue in 2013 and 2014. The group then came back for three-night stands in 2016 and 2021. The latter and most recent visit took place October 8 – 10, 2021 after multiple postponements due to COVID.

The Austin residency is the latest 2023 tour date announcement from Widespread Panic. Next up for the band is a two-night New Year’s Run at Nashville’s Bridgestone Arena on December 30 and New Year’s Eve. Scroll below for a full list of dates.
