Widespread Panic Postpones New York City Concerts Due To COVID-19

The band rescheduled their upcoming concerts at The Beacon Theatre to July 2022.

Widespread Panic postponed their upcoming five-night run of concerts in New York City that were scheduled for January 13 – 17, due to COVID-19. The sextet is now slated to play The Beacon Theatre on July 21, 22, 23, 24 and 25.

“The Band has had to make a number of tough calls and last-minute rescheduling decisions over the past seventeen months,” wrote WSP in a statement. “With our heartfelt apologies, this is one of them. We are grateful to everyone for their understanding.”

Widespread Panic originally announced the shows for September 16 – 20, 2021 and previously postponed the run to January 2022. Tickets for the January dates will be valid in July with tickets for the 13th honored on July 21, the 14th on July 22, the 15th on July 23, the 16th on July 24 and the 17th on July 25.
