Widespread Panic canceled their run in Milwaukee (October 25 – 27) and Halloween weekend shows in Savannah, Georgia (November 1 – 2). The band has now cleared their 2024 schedule as guitarist Jimmy Herring undergoes treatment for stage 1 tonsil cancer.

News of Herring’s diagnosis came in July along with the cancellation of Panic’s run that month in Asheville, North Carolina. The band subsequently canceled their August run in Boston and September stint in Las Vegas.

WSP shared a note via their website on the concerts in Milwaukee and Savannah:

The upcoming concerts scheduled for Milwaukee and Savannah have been canceled. Widespread Panic regrets having to cancel these performances but wants to give everyone enough time to adjust their plans as needed.

The Widespread Panic concerts scheduled for October 25, 26, and 27 at The Riverside Theater in Milwaukee and November 1 & 2 at Enmarket Arena in Savannah have been canceled. Refunds will be issued automatically at the point of purchase; there is nothing further ticketholders need to do.
