Widespread Panic concluded a three-night stand Sunday night at The Riverside Theater in Milwaukee. Just as they did the on Friday and Saturday, WSP selected a tune covered on a previous Halloween to play for the final song last evening as well.

Panic concluded the opening night of the run with a cover of Black Sabbath’s “Fairies Wear Boots” which opened their Halloween 2010 concert and had only been performed one other time this year. Saturday’s show concluded with Sabbath’s “Sweet Leaf” (also for the second time in 2016) which was played at several WSP Halloween gigs, most recently in 2014.

Sunday’s finale in Milwaukee wrapped up with another two song encore, kicking off with “Ain’t Life Grand.” WSP then followed with a bust out of Black Sabbath’s “Children Of The Grave” which was debuted on Halloween 2007 and not covered since, a gap of 604 shows.

Panic performs next tomorrow, Tuesday, October 25 at Orpheum Theatre in Minneapolis, Minnesota. They then play Wednesday, October 26 at Stephens Auditorium in Ames, Iowa before heading to 1st Bank Center in Broomfield, Colorado for a three-night Halloween Run on October 28, 29 and 30.
