Georgia rockers Widespread Panic will keep a long-standing tradition going on New Year’s Eve, when they will be joined by the Megablasters Horn Section to ring in 2017 at the Bridgestone Arena in Nashville. The band has also revealed the McCrary Sisters and the Love Sponge String Quartet will also join in the Music City festivities.

The Megablasters first sat-in with Widespread Panic for a two-night run in Atlanta in 2008 and guested with the band a number of times since including on New Year’s Eve 2009, 2011, 2013, 2014 and 2015. The McCrary Sisters (Ann, Deborah, Regina and Alfreda) are a quartet of vocalists from the Nashville area, while The Love Sponge String Quartet has contributed to albums by dozens of musical acts over the years including Ben Folds, James Blunt, Boz Scaggs and Marc Broussard.
