White Denim Shares ‘Had 2 Know (Personal)’ Guitar Tab Video

Austin-based rock band White Denim recently released their new studio album Stiff on Downtown Records. Among the singles issued off of Stiff was the album track “Had 2 Know (Personal).” If you’re a guitarist and/or bassist and want to know how to play the song, the band has done the favor of posting a video featuring live tablature instructions.

“A reassertion of our initial intent to satisfy our urge to play fast,” was how frontman James Petralli described the idea behind “Had 2 Know (Personal).”

White Denim is encouraging fans to upload their recording of the track, using the hashtag #ListenToWhiteDenim on either Instagram or Twitter while tagging @whitedenimmusic. One lucky winner will be selected to win a grand prize featuring a signed copy of Stiff on vinyl, a set of custom guitar picks and a limited edition tour poster. Entry is open now through May 6.
