White Denim Covers ‘Light Up Or Leave Me Alone’

While Austin rockers White Denim aren’t known for performing covers as part of their live shows, they have just shared a second cover recording in as many months. Hot on the heels of the group recording a Kenny Rogers cover for the TV show Fargo comes a Traffic cover for a new compilation album.

White Denim laid down a scorching take on the Traffic classic “Light Up Or Leave Me Alone” as part of All ATX: All Along The Moontower, a compilation album celebrating psychedelic rock. Proceeds from the recently released LP benefit HAAM, the Health Alliance For Austin Musicians, as well as the future non-profit All ATX Music Factory. All ATX is available for purchase exclusively via Waterloo Records in Austin.

2015 has been a quiet year for White Denim. Next year will seem to hold more for the foursome as they have already been confirmed to perform at the 2016 installments of Okeechobee, Treefort and Forecastle.
