White Denim Covers Kenny Rogers

2015 has been an extremely quiet year for Austin rockers White Denim. Thankfully, the quartet appears ready to return as they were added to the inaugural Okeechobee lineup and recorded a cover that aired on last night’s episode of Fargo.
“Just Dropped In (To See What My Condition Was In)” was written by famed Nashville songwriter Mickey Newbury and is said to reflect the LSD experience. Kenny Rogers scored his first top ten hit with the tune in 1968 backed by The First Edition. White Denim covered “Just Dropped In” and added their own spin to the song. The band shared audio of the cover, which premiered during last night’s episode of Fargo on FX:
