When Bassists Attack | Derhak Vs. Stasik At Summer Camp

Umphrey’s McGee and moe. have co-headlined the Summer Camp Music Festival for many years and have shared the stage dozens of times. That didn’t stop the bands’ bassists from squaring off at this year’s festival.

moe.’s Rob Derhak and Umphrey’s Ryan Stasik scrapped backstage at the event and the action was captured by Jay Blakesberg:

While clearly the bassists were in on the gag, it doesn’t seem as if many others backstage knew it was a joke. We love the worried reactions, though no one else seems to be interested in getting involved.
