Whale Rock Music Festival 2023 Lineup Includes Marcus King, Wood Brothers, Fearless Flyers & More
Both Two-Day and Single-Day tickets for the 10th-anniversary installment of the Templeton, California festival are on sale now.

Marcus King, The Wood Brothers and The Fearless Flyers top the 2023 Whale Rock Music Festival lineup. The long-running event celebrates its 10th anniversary on September 16 and 17 at Castoro Cellars’ Whale Rock Vineyard in Templeton, California.
King headlines on Saturday, September 16 following performances by The Nth Power Presents Earth Wind & Power, Sierra Hull, Ron Artis II & The Truth, Huntertones, Boot Juice, Mama Magnolia and Wolf Jett. The Nth Power’s Earth Wind & Fire tribute set will feature special guests Jennifer Hartswick, Nigel Hall, Skerik and “more.”
The Wood Brothers close out the festival on Sunday, September 17. The Fearless Flyers, Cory Wong, Proxima Parada, Big Richard, Samba Loca, Thrown-Out Bones and Wolf Jett are also aboard for the final day of this year’s Whale Rock Music Festival.

Castoro Cellars founders Niels and Bimmer Udsen teamed with sons Luke and Max and daughter in law Lauren to throw a party dubbed Beaverstock in 2013 celebrating the winery’s 30th anniversary. Beaverstock was rechristened Whale Rock in 2017 after threats from the owners of the Woodstock festival branding.
In addition to the music, the two-day event features yoga, activities for kids, wine, cocktails and food as well as a gallery of local artists. Proceeds from the festival will be donated to the Templeton Instrumental Music Booster Association.
