Weezer & Tears For Fears Collaborate On ‘Jimmy Kimmel Live’

Weezer and Tears For Fears performed the latter’s 1985 hit “Everybody Wants To Rule The World” on Monday’s episode of Jimmy Kimmel Live. Roland Orzabal and Curt Smith of Tears For Fears aided on the tune Weezer recorded for their recently released compilation of covers, The Teal Album.

The collaboration was a reprise of a version of “Everybody Wants To Rule The World” played by Weezer, Orzabal and Smith at Coachella back on Saturday night. Smith handled vocals for the first verse before Weezer’s Rivers Cuomo sang the second verse. Both Smith and Orzabal provided harmonies throughout the chorus and rest of the song.
