Ween’s run through the Midwest brought the band to Chicago’s Salt Shed on Saturday night. The concert featured Ween’s first performance of “I Fell In Love Today,” an outtake recorded during sessions for their 2003 album, Quebec.

“I Fell In Love Today” came 23 songs into a 34-song main set that was capped by another three songs during the encore. Recorded sometime between 2001 and 2003, “I Fell In Love Today” was included in the 2005 “odds and ends” compilation album Shinola, Vol. 1. The slow-burning, bluesy song was also part of The Caesar Demos released as a free download in 2011 by Ween guitarist Mickey “Dean Ween” Melchiondo.
