Ween performed their song “Bumblebee” for the first time since 2001 during their concert last night in Atlantic City, New Jersey.

Guitarists Gene Ween (Aaron Freeman), Dean Ween (Mickey Melchiondo), bassist Dave Dreiwitz, drummer Claude Coleman Jr. and keyboardist Glenn McClelland kicked off the show with “Big Jilm.” The first third of the 32-song concert also included favorites like “Piss Up a Rope,” “Learnin’ to Love,” “Roses Are Free,” “Happy Colored Marbles”, “Exactly Where I’m At” and “You Were the Fool.” A rarity, “I Wuz Nothin,” that has made a resurgence of late came next for just the 17th time since its debut in 2000, as per Brownbase.

Ween then busted out “Cold And Wet,” for the first time in five years. Gene and Dean debuted the tune on April 18, 1989. The rocker later appeared on Ween’s 1990 debut LP GodWeenSatan: The Oneness and like many songs on the album is a quick number. The Bend 2022 play marked just the 11th performance of the song and first since July 14, 2017. Following “Cold And Wet,” the quintet offered a tease of the song’s companion on GodWeenSatan, “Bumblebee,” which they recently

Next came “The Grobe” and “Don’t Get 2 Close (2 My Fantasy).” Ween then offered an interesting pairing of the breezy “Zoloft” and the wild rocker “Poopship Destroyer” followed by “Chocolate Town” and “She’s Your Baby.” The tail end of the main set included more rarities like “Kim Smoltz,” “Slow Down Boy” and “Among His Tribe,” the latter another fresh bust out in Seattle. Additional highlights included “Your Party” and a “You Fucked Up” closer. Ween returned to encore with the epic “Buenos Tardes Amigos.”
