On Saturday, August 27 Duran Duran, Ice Cube, Nathaniel Rateliff & The Night Sweats, STRFKR, A$AP Ferg, Andrew WK, Lizzo, The Coathangers and Kyle Craft will perform at Project Pabst Portland. On Sunday, August 28 Tame Impala, Ween, Drive Like Jehu, Unknown Mortal Orchestra, Parquet Courts, Sheer Mag, Hop Along, Diarrhea Planet and Tenement will perform at the second day of the event.
Project Pabst will incorporate music, art, hands-on experiences, as well as food and beer at reasonable “non-festival” prices. Beyond the music, festivalgoers will be entertained with the PBRcade (an old school arcade), PBR Vandalism which is an interactive art experience utilizing a van as a canvas, and PBR Wax, which is a mobile studio where people can record their own demo of music and take away the recording on a vinyl 45. Additionally, a local artist from each city will be highlighted on a limited edition Project Pabst 16 oz. can.
Tickets for Project Pabst Portland are on sale now via the event’s website. Night shows featuring music and comedy at various venues throughout the city will be held August 25 – 28, with details to be announced soon. Other Project Pabst events are scheduled for Denver, Atlanta and Philadelphia.
