Watch Tom Petty’s ‘Gainesville’ Video

This past Friday saw the release of An American Treasure, a new 60-track collection of Tom Petty music. Put together by Tom’s daughter Adria Petty and his wife Dana Petty the set features a mix of alternate versions of classic songs, rarities, live tracks and obscurities.

Among the material featured on the massive box set is “Gainesville,” a previously unreleased tune that was recorded during Petty and The Heartbreakers’ 1998 sessions for Echo. The An American Treasure track about Petty’s hometown has been given the music video treatment featuring archival footage from throughout Petty’s career. Watch the video for “Gainsville” below:
