The 2016 edition of Farm Aid is being held today, September 17 at Jiffy Lube Live in Bristow, Virginia. If you can’t make it to the 31st installment of the all-day music and food festival that is a benefit for family farmers in person, there’s an option to watch live in addition to the SiriusXM simulcast we reported on yesterday.
Farm Aid has announced a free, live stream starting at 3 p.m. today. The live broadcast will feature a finale performance by Willie Nelson & Family as well as sets by fellow Farm Aid board members John Mellencamp, Neil Young and Dave Matthews (who will be performing with Tim Reynolds). Also on the broadcast schedule are performances by Alabama Shakes, Sturgill Simpson, Nathaniel Rateliff & The Night Sweats and Jamey Johnson with special guest Alison Krauss.
